  • Council Meetings
The Junior Council holds general member meetings on the second Wednesday of every month at 7:00PM on the first floor of the Stanley Manne Children’s Research Institute (2430 N. Halsted Street). These meetings are dedicated to Executive Board updates, committee work sessions, and/or lectures from key Junior Council affiliates. After each meeting, we gather at Lincoln Station (2432 N. Lincoln Ave.) for casual food, drinks, and socialization. Please consult the Events Calendar or contact for details on our next meeting.
  • Work Nights
In addition to the committee work sessions during our monthly meetings, the Junior Council hosts monthly work nights to prepare for Snowball. Tasks include soliciting sponsorships, creating event decorations, and securing auction items. Please consult the Events Calendar or contact for details on our next work night.
  • Hospital Tours
The New Member Chairs hosts quarterly hospital tours for members to see the impact our work has on patients’ experiences. Please consult the Events Calendar or contact for details on our next tour.
  • Volunteering
The Junior Council looks for opportunities to support the hospital beyond our council-specific events and fundraising. These ventures include volunteer shifts with patients, and service days at the hospital. Please consult the Events Calendar or contact for details on our next volunteering opportunity.
  • Intramurals
The Junior Council participates in biannual intramural leagues to foster fellowship amongst members. Please consult the Events Calendar or contact for details on our upcoming leagues.
  • Happy Hours
The New Member Chairs hosts quarterly happy hours for members to meet and mingle with other members. Please consult the Events Calendar or contact for details on our next happy hour.
