As you prepare for Snowball, here are some helpful hints!

Saturday, February 25th, 2023 from 8pm – 1am.

The Old Post Office — 433 W Van Buren Street, Chicago IL. Important: you MUST enter through the Van Buren entrance (433 W. Van Buren). The Canal Street entrance will be closed.

What should I wear?

Snowball is a “Black Tie Optional” event. For most, this means a tux or floor length dress. However, we encourage you to wear whatever you feel the most confident in. Check out our Instagram and TikTok for inspiration!

Is there parking?

We do not recommend driving to Snowball and encourage you to take a taxi, rideshare, or public transit. If you drive to the event, you can park in the onsite parking garage (404 West Harrison St.). Parking is $15 per vehicle for up to 12 hours. Once parked, follow signs to level 2 “Historic Lobby” to enter the building. More detailed parking information can be found here.

Do I need to bring a ticket?

Upon purchase of a ticket, for entry into the event please bring your photo ID and you will receive your wristband for entry. You must have a photo ID with you to provide proof of identity and age.

Will there be a coat check?

Yes! A complimentary coat check will be provided, located past registration.

Will there be food?

Yes — We’ll have 17 amazing Chicago restaurants showcasing their cuisine at Snowball. Please remember the food is tasting-size portions so we recommend eating beforehand. Check out our restaurant partners here.

How does the silent auction work?

The silent auction is hosted online through our ticketing partner, Qtego. You can currently bid online and will be able to bid from your mobile phone at the event. Check out our awesome items here! Anyone can place a bid, so if you have friends, co-workers or family that won’t be at Snowball, but want to support the Junior Council, encourage them to register.

Note: In order to register for the event and auction, you must provide credit card information. Your card will NOT be charged unless you win an item.

Where is the afterparty?

Hubbard Inn is hosting the after-party this year! The entrance to Hubbard Inn is located at 110 W. Hubbard St. Show them your wristband for complimentary, expedited entrance and 1 drink ticket!
